all the old solo farming builds still "work"...they work as well as urs (prolly, but i havent tried yours).

gj finding a good build though, even if it still takes 20+mins to do a single griffon run

Why Balthazar's Spirit?

I should imagine the pet will taking all the hits and giving the pet Balths won't do you any good (as far as i'm aware Spirit only benefits whoever has the enchant, I've not heard of pets gaining the energy for the owner)
If that is indeed the case the I'd throw Essence Bond in there instead.

Um... Protective Bond? WTF? The old farming builds don't work at all. This thread is just stupid. It has less chance of working than standing there and attacking each Griffon one by one.

*sigh* You're just as bad as the OP. Do you even know what the updates are? Protective Bond doesnt work like that. You mustn't play GW very often to now realise how bad this build will not work.

ER wtf some of you ppl realy need to read into the skills more, this build works 100% fine

and it works NOW!!!!!!

let me tell you how Protective Bond on your pet so he lose 3 nrg per hit, then you put life bond on him and Symbiotic Bond. THEN you put balths sprit on your self so u get 2 nrg per hit back.

so you will have 1 nrg reagin and lose 1 with a hit but you have blessed signet.

you could use Essence Bond as well and have no nrg gain and lose none but you will lack some skills.

...........

Oh and Talon i know how the skills work before and after the patchs so no idea work you are trying to implie.

and it works cos i have tried it on groups by casting SOJ on the pet.

and get up-to-date??????? WTF.... don't you ppl understand how this build works its easy to understand and easy to work.... and its a pretty fun build to run

What? You make no sense. Balths Spirit gives 2 energy per hit? No it doesnt, it gives 1. I'm implying that the skills don't work the way you wrote them.

Symbiotic Bond and Life Bond transfer damage to him.

Triggers Balthazar's Spirit twice. Don't jump him because YOU don't know the skills.

Also quartering the damage taken by the pet.

His only real damage would come from Shield of Judgement.

Otherwise this would take forever to run.

But yeah, you all have... No point other than it will take alot of time. Which the OP said.

Half the damage is *doubly* redirected to you (once by Life Bond, and once by Symbiotic Bond), so each hit taken by your pet should grant you 2 energy.

Well I stand corrected. But I still stick by the fact that this won't work. You have literally no damage except the optional 8th skill, which is only minimal damage, and plus, the pet will not be the sole target, the monsters will attack you as well.

will i use this build mainly for fun and when i am bored of killing things the same old way and want some fun in and outa missions. Thou it dosen't have major dmg output on it, you could add esscene bond on and walk of for acouple of minutes :P

my main farming builds i use are alot faster and more effecint then this one, but i didn't realy won't to post them cos of all the nerfing but one includes a 27hp build

oh and i think its funny how ppl jump to conclusions :P

I know the 27 HP one. It doesnt work as well as it could, as AOE doesnt work. The 8 HP one works a million times better.

thing is thou you can't get the 8hp build working solo in the UW like the 27hp build and then all you need is basicly mending at 4 regain to counter most things. IT will go down to 1 regain agasit ataxes but agasit 2/3 it shouldn't be a problem with divine favor healing you and and taking 1 dmg per hit you are pretty much sorted :P

But also, the 27hp one is harder to maintain. You have to constantly keep skills going or you die easily. Once you kill things, you lose the 8hp, but it works better against large groups.

agreed there the 8 hp does rule agasit any size group if you have enough hp regain, but when u start to kill ppl you lose your DP and will have to die again to lower it.

and the 27hp build is easy to maintain you only need to maintain one more skill to keep the 27hp always and the only problem with that is the cast time.... and in the uw a longer cast time can suck, but if it dose fail you will fall back to 55hp and if you have brezze u will be fine ....... in most cases :s
